Nah, airlines are the biggest welfare queens in America.

This is too close for comfort. I'm glad to see the judges and Dems finally fighting back on this. I kept receiving deceptive mailers from a Republican PAC that totally mischaracterized the issue. I finally started receiving pro-retention mailers last week.

I'm not one for conspiracies/panic, but I have the same question. David Frum recently wrote a column pointing out that Trump seems a little too calm about his ability to get away with royally pissing off voters. I'd like to think it's because (1) he's a sociopath; and (2) he can't run again, but...

This actually makes more sense LOL

Murdoch’s WSJ is melting down over the damage that Trump is doing to the economy. Just day after day and editorials blasting him, and hard news headlines and articles that are quite blunt. Rich people hate money-losing chaos, too.

This is what concerns me as well and I feel like this crucial part of the story is getting buried because we are all so focused on the racism angle. A military without legal constraint is a threat to all of us.

The plaintiffs seeking injunctive relief here are not helpless. They should file a motion with the judge who granted the initial stay seeking further injunctive relief based upon this end run because it violates the spirit of the order.

Fastball!! Whew, blast from the past right there.

The stock market is one of the very few things that forces Trump to course correct. Because the market is detached from reality, he may be able to destroy vast swaths of the government without impoverishing investors.

This. “Indirect costs” can sound innocuous and unnecessary. Trump counts on people not understanding what’s happening.

TBH it's already changed my travel plans. I recently booked a trip for one of my kids via train rather than plane. I hope enough people change their behavior that the airlines start to feel it.

OMG haven't seen that guy in ages. Is he still in the bad place or has he simply gone dark? I used to actually laugh out loud at those posts.
February 7, 2025 at 2:37 PM
BINGO. And the media is falling for it yet again.
February 5, 2025 at 11:13 AM
It's all performative bullshit. Trump creates a crisis then "solves" it with some incremental thing he could have gotten had he spoken with the other parties like a grown-up. The chaos method gives him drama and attention and plaudits for being "tough" and "genius" and "owning the libs."

When I read this article yesterday, I actually cringed at the part about frequency of posting on social media. Just embarrassing stuff that makes Democrats look utterly incompetent.

TBH I'm so envious of people who managed to get multiple years out of it because it's such a great way to recycle clothing AND make a bit of money. I have few regrets in life but one of them is not finding PM sooner LOL. I still have so many items I want to sell...

I discovered Poshmark about 18 months ago and had a wonderful initial experience finding items in a favorite brand and selling some things. Then the website shifted its focus to the live shows and I was lucky to make one sale/month. Remarkably quick decline and everyone I know on there hates it now

I had exactly the same reaction. Funny how consistent this is, eh?

Watching Will Shipley watch the Jumbotron and see that he was about to be attacked by multiple Commies and tighten his grip on the ball in prep was amazing.

Couldn’t think of “baguette” so I called it a “bread sword.” Thats what my family has called it ever since.

Nah, I was telling someone the other day this is exactly what other countries need to do to us. We deserve it.
