Love scenic vistas, strong coffee, fluffy dogs and trash novels. She/Her
I suspect they have a LOT of unsold inventory and need to do something with it but what app are folks using to hail one of these???

I never realized there was a version where he wasn’t an insensitive adult jerk in his 20s when he got cursed

Phil Hartman was my immediate thought too. And coincidentally it was just like an hour after I’d rewatched the classic Hanukkah Harry Saves Christmas SNL skit (where Hartman was Santa). So effing sad.

I love how they forget inflation under Biden happened along with wage inflation and historically low unemployment. It wasn’t enough and it obviously wasn’t spread evenly but the affordability crisis now is rising costs in a tightening job market which feels a lot worse for a lot of people!

Clearly someone from USA Today saw that they’d been referenced as “the least biased of a bad lot” for print newspapers and wanted to correct that (be more right-biased) to avoid getting on Trump’s radar.

There’s a bbq place near me that makes a “Cuban Mac & cheese” that has pork pickles and mustard and it’s amazing. 🤤

Clearly you aren’t driving in Massachusetts where they don’t actually bother with signage most of the time and when they do, it’s often unhelpful to outsiders (eg a fork in the road where the signs only reference which small town is which way).

If they want to shore up the exchanges without spending more money on subsidies, the answer is that *everyone* go on the exchanges. Turn employer benefit into contributions to an HSA and then all Americans purchase individually on the exchanges where they shop for plans on equal footing.

Probably important to note that this wasn’t a part of *very early Christianity* (when it was essentially a sect within Judaism). It happened later when Roman Christians wanted to both convert Roman pagans and distance themselves from origin story where *they* (Romans) were very clearly the bad guys.

I still get big mad when words I expect aren’t there (ratafia, hied, etc). Like dude you included “dunno” and “tagliatelle” but not these slightly old fashioned words that are super common in regency novels?

I agree with whoever noted the L in chalk isn’t silent but having lived in New England for 25yrs, I know it’s pronounced without the L in *some* areas. I figured out the category but i thought it was just bad accents butchering the language 🤷🏻‍♀️
