I read the article a few hours ago and that quote stood out to me as well. I actually considered emailing the doc directly because it's such a completely insane take. Then I stopped myself when I realized I didn't know what I would actually say beyond, "you know that's crazy, right?"

It’s crazy to me to think that when Coldplay first hit the scene, I made fun of them for being a Radiohead ripoff band. …and I still loved those albums!
