Started the first #bikebus in KC. People ask what a bike bus is and I tell them it’s like the 80s when you rode your bike to school with friends. Who else remembers the rite of passage of riding your bike to elementary and middle school?

I know him a notorious liar,
Think him a great way fool, solely a coward;
Yet these fix’d evils sit so fit in him,
That they take place when virtue’s steely bones
Looks bleak i’ th’ cold wind.

This book is amazing. So much to learn and can’t wait till spring to forage for greens. So many “weeds” are edible plants and good for you.

1/3 What if the only real way to engage, to get a message across that the populous stands for human rights and is anathema to the far right agenda is to disengage from their sacred temple of capitalism. Not by not spending, but by pulling out investment accounts?

It’s getting ready to be a billionaires world (even more so) brought to you by the working class. The question is what will we do about. Voting isn’t the tool to beat propaganda and for profit news media.

Yep!
If you aren't on their platform, their algorithms are useless
Dude…

The algorithms that rank content and determine what people see are curated by a select few. In the case of Fb/insta it’s a few dozen pencil pushers putting their fingers on the weights at the behest of a board of billionaires. In the case of Twitter, it’s a single overhyped man child.

I canceled Amazon Prime 4 days ago after 14 years. Busting unions for hard working employees who deliver on a buyers whim? Nope. Not going to miss it. I’m learning that having things at my local stores and me biking to get them is NOT inconvenience. To think otherwise is propaganda. #byeamazon

Sad news that Cleary Bikes is gone. We were lucky enough to get one for our daughter who is way more into biking because of it. Well made, kid geo bikes are game changers for kids.

Im an old car lover. Something my dad has passed onto me. This 1987 Toyota truck is one of my all time faves….and my buddy gave me a “rez edition” decal that makes it even better!

Something to think about in these trying times.
When Buddha says :
" All is illusion ",
he isn't saying that nothing is real.
He's saying that your mind's projections onto reality are illusions.

Every Thursday night we ride out from the shop. Group rides are such therapy. Every time we ride it feels like 1985, riding in the neighborhood with friends exploring the town.

Bikepacking is one of the best uses for a bike IMO. Something feels really nice about having everything you need loaded on your bike. The adventures are limitless.
