It's so gross. I drove by today and there were a lot of protestors, and they were all peaceful. I couldn't figure out why they were firing tear gas canisters, but had to keep driving because my nose was burning.

Oh, maybe. It was hard to see as I was driving by, but I could tell they had brown uniforms with helmets if that helps solve the mystery.

Current Portlander here. I'm sure you all know this, but trump sent the national guard to Portland because on busy days, the number of peaceful ICE protestors can escalate into the dozens. Dozens!!! Trump is scared of up to dozens of peaceful people who occasionally don fun costumes.
