I honestly don't think that this current iteration of the Trump administration would need ICE to do what they're doing. They would rationalize that another part of the government could. These people don't care about the rules.

Yup. I also think that now is not a time to rely on politicians in general. We, the people, have the power and will always have it unless we give it over to them. We're in a time we we should be organizing and working to protect our rights.

Yeah, bad judgement, for sure. He should be criticized for this. But saying that Trump's victims blood is on his hands? I just feel like hyperbolic language isn't going to get the country back.

My point is that Newsom didn't put Trump into office. So, how can he be responsible for the actions that Trump takes while in office? Do you think if he protested Trump's actions that it would stop Trump? The fight we are in takes all of us, and it's not up to people like Newsom.

I can see that. That's important for sure. However, the challenge we are facing is going to take ALL of us. I don't think the dictator is going to be toppled by one voice. We are going to require unity as a country to get through this. It's why I want more discussion about what WE need to be doing.

I get that you like some people's style. Making you feel good on TV doesn't equate to doing something tangible. I love Crockett. However, nothing she says is going to stop what the admin is doing. I am more concerned with concrete actions and not feel good moments.
