His claim is that anything online is "free to use" and suits filed against people on this have all failed, so it's no problem! He's even suggesting that veteran teachers upload years of lesson plans to help it write new lesson plans for us. I'm so over this.

You're totally right about the $$, too. I bought a Sony alpha bc I wanted something lighter to travel with, but I keep going back to the Nikon. 😅

To be honest, I got into Nikon only bc I apprenticed/interned w a photographer who was all Nikon, but my first cameras were Canon and Minolta! Once I got used to the Nikon, I kept it up out of habit and so we always had the same format.

Love my Nikon and all the glass I've amassed for it over time. It's way harder w Sony and other brands.

We can use DNA fingerprinting to study the effects of climate change to an ecosystem or a single species, or even to identify pathogens and map their spread to alert communities to outbreaks. So what's the downside? Mostly privacy concerns and the potential for discrimination or other misuse.
