I see people on here saying “no the country didn’t vote for this.” I think people need to accept that yes the majority did. Americans were warned this would happen and they still chose to vote for this. And 80% of Republicans are still ok with this according to a NYT poll

But 80% of Republicans thought the tactics were “about right” (56%) or didn’t go far enough (24%)
So unfortunately a good proportion of Americans are perfectly ok with this.

I generally agree with your take but watching Tim and Will right now I have to disagree on this one.
Dems should have held out longer until Trump voters really started to feel the pain themselves- otherwise America is never going to stop this slide into fascism.
Something needs to wake them up.
