this was me, and that's exactly what i did. clean slate. new face, new name. no more sharing community space with people everyone is secretly afraid of. my only regret was doing it AFTER their messy and public crashout we could all see coming from a thousand miles away.

me and anti-kink furries aren't in the same community. i'm in the furry community. the one that started at sci-fi conventions in the 80s. they're in some other community with the same name.

i have a fairly new coworker who is a "same-sex attracted" mormon choosing a life of isolation in obedience to doctrinal perspectives on homosexuality, and i think he sucks and i need him to never talk to me

i think i just like creative constraints! i think the pokémon from gen 3 onward look great and all, but the gen 2 sprites look so bold in comparison. it's a personal preference.

(and whoever made the decision to nerf arcanines nose should be tried at the hague)

right now i'm specifically obsessed with the art direction of gen 2. due to hardware limitations, each sprite could only sample from 4 colors and it resulted in these muted, high contrast designs which gave the game such a unique tone.

i designed summit to look like he would camouflage with the pinyon-juniper shrubland of the western united states. in my mind i was creating a new regional subspecies. sand and snow are both features of this habitat!

summit already lives in an adventure rpg universe so that writes itself. but the only thing that makes sense for kc is an interactive fiction that you lose on purpose so you can bust.

i miss when the art design of pokémon wasn't so standardized. i wish new pokémon games still gave room for reinterpretation. i suppose part of the fun of having a pokésona is you can sort of do that yourself.
