Scrooge has long been my favorite fictional character. Will my favorite version is the musical Scrooge. George C Scott is the best Scrooge with the most believable transition at the end as well.

Not exactly. He only built 48 miles of new wall. The rest, about 450 miles, was just replacement and repair of older walls and secondary barriers behind primary walls.
