folklore (2020) was when i felt it started to get egregious. there are at least 4 versions of the album, the long pond studio sessions, little EPs with random lyric titles, come ON. and her FRIEND, ed sheeran, is always like “i can’t get my vinyls made bc taylor has taken up all the space lol”

decided to watch the pilot episode of witch on a whim. a few things:

-i’ve always loved magical girl series

-when i was in grade school i thought caleb was a grown ass man with a mortgage. yall why his voice barely cracking😂😭

100%! that’s why it’s situational to me. like being out here playing people and pretending to be in a place you know you aren’t in is loser behavior. but i think “yeah im still figuring things out and you aren’t so let’s nip this in the bud” is fine.

ultimately i think you just gotta find someone on the same page you’re on. now if they outright play you, that’s uncool. but if they’re honest and their season of life doesn’t match yours, find someone who can meet you where you are.

ik how y’all like to tussle but i think the ghastliness of this is situational. people change constantly, there’s nothing wrong with reworking parts of your life that no longer serve you. no one has it all figured it out all the time, leave room for that.

it’s never too late to learn, though. my best friend started teaching himself how to cook at 23 and is now learning how to shop frugally. even makes his own laundry detergent.

i will always say being an RA opened my eyes to how differently kids are raised/educated. they either flooded the laundry room and lived off of pizza hut or lysol’d the community kitchen and fried chicken every sunday night

yes please. i feel like my generation (old gen z) was the last to have family and consumer sciences. we learned how to cook, grocery shop, sew, build community and nourish our bodies.
