One of the craziest parts of #thething is that it climaxes with the last 3 survivors, MacReady, Nauls, and Garry, agreeing to kill themselves by blowing up the outpost to stop the alien from escaping. 🙏

- it grabs and "eats" a person
- creates another version of that person
