Well assuming that there wasn't appeasement by European powers. I don't think we can assume that any longer.

Unless Congress is prepared to impeach and remove Bondi, then the law is optional. The GOP wanted it on the record that they voted to release the files. They got that.

OK using those same tactics then what exactly do you believe the Democrats can accomplish?
January 5, 2026 at 12:50 AM
Can you please just provide one example of a policy they implemented while in the minority?

The GOP couldn’t get rid of Obamacare when they were in the majority during the first Trump term. What did they accomplish in the minority?
January 5, 2026 at 12:36 AM
That could happen, but McConnell, like Pelosi are uniquely talented at legislating. IMO, I’m willing to lose some years of the Pelosis to avoid being stuck with years of McConnell.

So? What does that have to do with term limits? Term limits, even long ones like 24 years means that he wouldn’t have been there to steal that Sp.Ct. seat.
January 4, 2026 at 4:13 PM
What precisely would you like them to do? Personally, even though it will fail, I want them to introduce impeachment resolutions. I see no reason to attack them when Trump did this.

But that’s also how we wind up with Mitch McConnell. And since I am not one of his constituents, there is little that I can do but suffer the effects of his competent but evil leadership.

We are at the point of the story where the world will try to appease Trump. There’s no chance yet that the rest of the world is ready for even an economic conflict. The UK is leading the appeasement just like the last time.

Starmer won't be drawn on whether US strikes on Venezuela broke international law
The PM told the BBC's Laura Kuenssberg that he won't "shy away from this" but added we "haven't got the full picture at the moment".

What’s really funny is that Obama handily won reelection a month later.

They gave my boy a lightsaber and just decided not to pay that off in 2 movies.

To be fair Merrick Garland was a prosecutor before going on the bench. He led the Oklahoma City Bombing investigation and prosecution.

Mostly something called half and half which is half cream, half milk. But in many cafes you can get full cream if you want.
December 5, 2025 at 11:29 AM
So how would that work? I’m not opposed to what you’re saying. I think Schumer should resign as minority leader immediately. But how do you punish say Dick Durbin who has already announced that he’s not running again? Personally I think long term we have to have term limits.

Do you believe that every Democrat is conspiring with the GOP? If so, to what end?

Please note these are questions, I’m not making an argument. I’m trying to understand your point.
November 13, 2025 at 5:36 PM
You did, it was Conor Lamb. There were signs that Fetterman would be who he is. People ignored it because he seemed like a “fighter”. Wound up fighting for the GOP. Maine is looking like it’s going to make the same mistake.

Of course it is. The line was a remarkably stupid idea.

How many people are in Schumer’s camp these days? Even hardcore Democrat boosters know this was a bad deal which is why you had to have all the retirees vote for it.
November 10, 2025 at 12:27 PM
Umm... Democrats won three of the five elections you're talking about. And the DNC leadership doesn't endorse candidates. Other Democrats, some with great influence do. And strangely enough that sometimes works to help candidates win.
November 1, 2025 at 12:04 AM
OK, I have no love for Schumer and Jeffries and think they should go. I'm not sure why Harris got under your skin. She endorsed him when asked and even gave a more enthusiastic response a couple of days later when her original comments were thought too tepid.

So do you extrapolate from the actions of a few elected Democrats that this is the position of the whole party?
