Saw my first spring flowers this year on the dog walk today. These little beauties were all on their own in a large stretch of a grassy boulevard.

Among the earliest to flower, a close up of the crocus tommasinianus boasting elegant blossoms of pale lavender petals with a silvery reverse and orange centres. These grew through the grass of a boulevard around the corner from where I live and is my first sighting of spring flowers. Yay!
