Remember:

It can be sad. It can be tragic. It can be disgusting and depressing and discouraging.

But it doesn’t have to mean this is who we are now. It’s what our country is doing right now and that’s not the same as who we are.

Who we are isn’t up to him.

Look, I don’t know what the next four years are gonna be like. I know it’s not gonna be good, but I also know this:

It is survivable.

And when it’s over, if we put ourselves in a position to win, we can be in position to thrive.
