I totally agree, it works well as a distraction too, it can defuse situations 👌 For the majority of people with or without send/adhd being out nature is very helpful to regulate, when doing CBT therapy it's advised by most therapists to get out in nature daily.

Some very wealthy people already have their hand in the UK, this is bigger than Trump it & has had 200yrs to build up a following. Reform is part of it all imo.

Are we asking for it all day? In corridors, line-ups, assemblies, lessons?

I think we're at risk of 'doing' too much & it's starting to feel like some schls are conditioning the child out of the children imo - adultification🚩

Socialisation at some schools = being under bad condition with peers imo... 30 minute breaks to eat, use the toilet + socialise 🤔 surely can't be the best place for children to be from 11yrs old 😳
Take Michaela school for example - even subjects of conversation are controlled at "Family lunch" 😖

We do not Do or else regardless of reason, we do not penalise disabled people or isolate + detain children for not obeying 1st time and everytime. We do not define worth by academic ability - that is an upper class thing, not us...

It is time we looked at alternative education for our children as what is on offer feels like we're being abused - colonised, coerced by threat of sanction to comply to a schl's 'culture' that is alien to the working class people of England...
