I don't think Americans are looking for party unity. They'd like the people getting paid to do a job, would get busy and get that job done.

Support for enslaving humans is unconstitutional. Encouraging it is sedition against the citizens of the USA. Therefore it is totally unacceptable UNLESS the speaker is volunteering himself.

I hope people realize this is a problem that must be dealt with and which is not going to be alleviated with a bandage.

I would think that in the US, employers own the things employees say and do, in "public", either during the hours a wage worker is on the clock, or to a greater extent for salaried workers. I don't think it should be so, but the US is very business-owner friendly. Even universities are businesses

This is great news. I'm so tired of being not able to read articles behind paywalls in my own town, especially since we don't seem to have a local news channel either.
Maybe the grant will fund little towns & not mine, but I still think it's great.
