The Scots don’t slay the year, as such, but they do give it a good clean. The house has to be spotless for Hogmanay. I’ve always thought that’s quite good.

Eurgh! I always worry a bit about squirrels, but that’s mostly involving the tail getting caught. I also try to avoid the nose end of curious dogs.

This is fantastic! But still too early in the morning for me to work out the difference between authorised and unauthorised beavers. And then the article just drops in the fact that there are also wild ones just doing their stuff - are they all mystery beavers too?

From what I remember, Copenhagen airport is great. It was my last flight before Covid and I still have the cosmetics I bought to use up the euros!

I thought that was what the first half of the term was for? Stuff that will be forgotten about by re-election time. In which case they’ve left it a bit late, and still managed to be unpopular.
