Lune has to come to terms with the fact that she'll never get to explore the 'real' world.
Sciel has to accept that her husband is never coming back.
The rest of the canvas has to grieve for everything that was lost in the fight, but they have finally secured hope.
Tomorrow has finally arrived.

explicit spoilers:
I want Sciel/Lune to use Gustave's converter to redistribute the chroma from Maelle to everyone else in the canvas. They decide to cut the canvas off from the outside (somehow).
Maelle has to say goodbye to Verso and the life she lived there.
Little and Big Verso get to die.

Like I DO like the endings, I just want one that centers the canvas itself.
I loved the "Tomorrow Comes" motto as a way for the party to stay focused amidst their grief, so it made me sad when both of the endings skipped over the group of people who have been fighting for the world that comes after.

I like the multiple endings because they give insight to the character motivations. I didn't like how they both left out the rest of the party's desires.
Would have been nice to have a "Canvas Denizens" ending in addition to "Maelle" and "Verso." Simple to make it thematically appropriate too.

The only other moments would be like the character relationship stuff, but that doesn't change the trajectory of the story.

And I know that it's a story about grief so the ending has to honor that, but I can imagine ways in which they could still honor the theme without inflicting the specific tragedies of the other two endings.

I thought they were both decent ways for the story to end, but I did find myself wishing for a third ending that allowed for some compromise between the other two. Hopefully they'll add one in later lol
