Public shaming fell by the wayside once the village idiots found other like-minded idiots online and formed communities. Ergo we need to bring public shaming online and back to work.

Why don't they just market it as remote controlled taxis

Schumer needs to one up him at his own game. Agree to it and then only name the urinals after him.

Sounds like AIPAC is finally getting their Icarus moment.

We are a first past the post voting system. Mathematically it will always devolve into a two party system. The best way to further your cause is to take over a party within, hence a coalition. If you want further left policies like I do, we have to push a party left.

I wish more people would look at the Dem party as less of a "big tent" and more of a coalition government. It's fine to hold differing views, but it serves better to unite with the opposite side of the party rather than lose power completely.

I feel too many Dem politicians led lives of such privilege they never had to deal with the bullies and the pieces of shit in society. Once you give in to a bully they know you have a price and will always come back for more. Bullies don't argue or compromise in good faith. You gotta fight back.

It's great Judge Luttig is speaking out. But this is a bit of a Dr. Frankenstein moment.

He was instrumental in making sure Clarence Thomas was confirmed to the Supreme Court. Even postponing taking his own federal judgeship oath of office so he couldn't be forced into acting nonpartisan.

Especially since us taxpayers unfortunately spent $850,000 in FBI overtime pay to have that name redacted

I loved AC Odyssey and Origins. I made it about an hour into Valhalla before abandoning it forever.

The Vacancies Act covers the acting status for Senate approved positions. Typically it is 210 days but 300 days if within 60 days of the Pres inauguration. This countdown is paused when a nomination is put forward. If rejected, clock starts over. This can happen twice. So it can extend quite long.

He's not a farmer. He's a US Senator. If he wants to be a farmer, then he's free to march his happy ass back to Iowa.
Until then, he has a job to do.

Then hopefully the next time we hear his name in the headlines it involves the words "state charges"
