Adam, you're a good person but it's hard for us to trust Jekyll when Mr. Hyde is getting worse and has committed to annexing us.

Also Calgarian - the hardest core RWNJs I know all live in Nfld. They really are everywhere despite the high profile of ours here in Alta.

I know a few. Usual caveats about small sample sizes but: Christian Nationalism is a big plus, Anti-foreign aid agenda, Lax climate policy, better gun selection... These are the most common themes. The same kinda of things that appeal to full red hat MAGA types.

It's madness, and hopefully still objectively unlikely, but personally on the back of this I'm doubling my estimate for the likelihood of some form of invasion. The tricky question is then about how far to go with individual preparedness.
