Covid Cautious (mask up for others if not for yourself), love walking with my dogs, tried to help save democracy in the US (failed), love visiting with my daughters.
Me, although I’m normalizing people in my circles seeing me in masks. One friend “finally” genuinely asked why I mask on outdoor walks with a group of friends. I know outdoor transmission is lesser known but it is known. Why worry when you can just mask.

Yes and thank you!

Yikes

Because the interest rate is lower than the return he can get elsewhere. And/or a write off. But these weren’t mortgages for himself, so rates wouldn’t have been as good.

It does have added benefits!

I’m sorry for your long covid. It’s mind boggling how people will try to pressure me to eat or drink with my N95 on. No matter how many times I tell them it’s not coming off in your shared air space.

The link to the article isn’t working for me. Can you give a better link please?

My kids have a cousin that got LC early March 2020. She was in a wheelchair for over a year. But since she’s “the only one” they knew with LC, they stopped trying to prevent it. So disappointing.

You shouldn’t need to change your mask. Assholes will still be assholes. Normalize your mask wearing! And people will be wishing they were you down the road.

You should wear the mask that works for you and ignore the assholes making those comments. Sorry that happened.

Because ICE is wearing KN95s 🙄
November 19, 2025 at 4:24 AM
I believe the science says 24 hours if both are masking
November 19, 2025 at 12:59 AM
One way masking isn’t ideal, but it will keep you safe for a good number of hours if you have a good fit. Basic masks aren’t N95s.

I use the Aura for all high exposure encounters, but in the heat and humidity I’ll wear a vflex and not sweat profusely. It’s also easier to exercise in so don’t retire those vflexes just yet maybe.

I was thinking this same thing. FND isn’t really a helpful diagnosis from what I’ve heard.

Thanks for sharing. I’m sorry people don’t get it and remember for future conversations. It must be so frustrating.

I was always surprised my soon to be ex didn’t keep masking to save his brain cells. He loves his brain, it’s not so great after three infections.

I don’t trust the SIP valve either. I don’t trust my ability to do it just right.

I wonder how the response will be to the next pandemic if it’s anytime soon. The hatred and fear of masking might make for much worse outcomes the sooner it happens.

I’m right there with you. Sometimes afraid to say it out loud as if I’m going to jinx it.

Voted for her as well. Best of luck!

HCA buys phenomenal hospitals and then makes them money makers. Sadly they are no longer phenomenal. Private equity ruins most great things.
