while rewatching Twin Peaks, I discovered my hometown Amsterdam makes a very short appearance in season 1, episode 5, 'Cooper's Dreams' – it is indeed in a dream sequence that this building at Warmoesstraat 65 flashes by (it's still a sex shop today, but with different name and signage).
