This being pretty much the LAST page of the LAST issue of World's Finest 1941 is SOOOO juicy oh my lord. The whole issue is a wacky zany space adventure where, oh boy! Oh no! Superman's in trouble AGAIN, Batman saves him AGAIN.. but hes had enough of being afraid for his best buddy :( great stuff

Superman faces Batman and says: "I guess I have you to thank for..." before Batman cuts him off with: "Save it. I don't want to hear it. You wouldn't have to be thanking me now if you'd handled the situation a little differently than the way you ALWAYS do... Flying right into the THICK of things. You're faster than a speeding bullet. SLOW DOWN... and USE that super-brain once in a while." Batman starts to walk away, and says: "The night... The shadows... Those are my domain. The backstreets and back alleys... They're my territory. Leave them to an expert." He walks into the distance while Superman looks on in thought, and finishes the page by saying: "The world almost LOST Superman... because of his foolish impetuosity. I'll save your neck any time... but I WON'T write your epitaph. Think about it."
