I don’t remember any updated drills after that before moving on to the high school. Instruments and instrument cases were already put away. Not sure if chairs and stands were still out. The school has since been heavily remodeled; not sure if there are any more brick walls.

I was in the band room at my middle school; no desks. Everyone crowded around the three doorways to the teacher’s office and instrument storage rooms. While things were still moving, one student ran to the unoccupied percussion doorway. Drills had taught us to stand against the brick wall.

At least pay in cash…
