Are you sure that is ppm in the bottle? I didn’t every read about that for Octo. The ppm on the labels describe the peat level in the barley.

Yeah and people were hesitant to buy it. And now it is gathering dust together with #017 (which is really a lot worse in my book!). I also was lucky to snag two for cheap, so good for us 😁

Especially the #016 is one of the better of the last batches. Give it some time and oxygen in the bottle. I have even put it in a square decanter to give it more room to breathe.

„Guarded by seals“ is either Bunna or Laga from my experience on Islay. Plus this tastes a lot like Lagavulin Distillers Edition (the better ones) and definitely not like Bunna. But of course I could be wrong. More „puzzling“ then „knowing“. 😇

Always loved the 105. How is your current bottle? I opened one of the recent bottles from this year and unfortunately the alcohol is not well integrated. Never had that issue before.
