One game that pleasantly surprised me these past few weeks has been KILL KNIGHT. I keep coming back to it.
It's a top-down bullet hell survival game with gothic aesthetics and some of the most responsive and fluid gameplay mechanics that I've ever seen.

This slide from CEDEC 2024 has two things:
- Tears of the Kingdom is using Dear ImGui,
- interestingly: Nintendo use tools to track who placed certain objects in the world, in order to facilitate tracking/discussing intent among designers and other team members.
