Dry white wine, dry martini. Those are allowed in dry January, aren't they?

Probably because he doesn't like the idea of scrutiny. Thanks to Liz Truss he's also seen what would happen if he tried to simply bypass the OBR.

So if another country does the same and kidnaps Trump to 'put him on trial' the Republicans would be okay with that? I can't help thinking that Trump has unfortunately put a big(ger) target on his back as a result of his latest actions.

Looks like another poll showing a decrease in support for Reform from their previous survey. It'll be interesting to see if this is a levelling off or the start of a decline. Either way it looks like for now they may have peaked.

Interesting to see another polling company is now showing Reform at below 30%, though 25% is surprisingly low. It'll be interesting to see if this trend continues in the coming weeks across different polling companies.

With power in local councils they're rightly getting increased scrutiny.

Do you have any plans to (re)visit all the stations on the Marston Vale line? The latest East West Rail plans indicate that most of the existing stations on the line will either permanently close or will be relocated.

Living in the UK and watching the news today, I think I know what one of your next videos will be.

It's not a great look when press reporters are getting hit with rubber(?) bullets, at least one live on air. Let alone the legality of not waiting for the state governor to request help.

It makes the UK's Reform party problems seem comparatively minor. Even with Reform's chairman resigning and saying that getting the party elected was 'no longer a good use of his time'.

With regards to the names, I wonder if eventually the nationalised services will have a "GBR" prefix, with "railway" dropped from any existing names.

For example, "South Western Railway" renamed "GBR South Western".

Fares are a potential concern given what publicly owned LNER have been doing.

I'd welcome the secondary vote option being reinstated, and it possibly expanded to include council elections. It arguably means candidates & parties work harder, even if it's just to win your secondary vote. It also gives the winner a bigger mandate of those who voted.

Maybe Vance told him that Trump would like another audience with the Pope?

In another Trump administration development and erosion of the first amendment, it looks like they're moving to close down Voice of America. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Were you on a train or somewhere else such as a nearby supermarket when you saw the ticket inspector?
