I have to admit I’m tired of this narrative from big tech that technology is going to make all our lives better. History has proven that even the most well intentioned companies (remember “don’t be evil”?) change their tune under shareholder pressure. A healthy dose of skepticism is required here.

May be placebo effect but sure felt faster.
I've been using gitlab for years because of the need to self host. I've only recently started using github to make things publicly available and find it inferior to gitlab for CICD. This certainly isn't going to help github gain enterprise customers. #git #gitlab #github
