Absolutely no justification for activating national guard in LA--local law enforcement had things in hand. This is typical overplay by Trump, one more indication of his move to dictatorship. He will keep pushing such moves til he is stopped. Law enforcement and military remember your oath.

Trump/MAGA and others have ignored/forgotten that Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain, Qatar are basically dictatorships that have financed terrorism over many years. They are not allies, not democracies, not trustworthy. Trump loves their attention and money, craps on our real allies.

Jake Tapper just accentuated age bias on his show, "shuffle off" for instance. His language, and that of his guest, indicate their bias, i.e. we seniors are not up to big jobs/roles/contributions. Really? Fact check yourself Jake--plenty of seniors have made amazing contributions late in life.

Good on Harvard, other universities, Costco, other companies, who stood against Trump's attempt to dictate their policies. We need other presidents/CEOs/Boards to do the same. He is a bully. We all know that you have to stand up to a bully or you will get more of the same.

Don't think for a moment that big business/billionaires will suffer in Trump's disastrous economy. Sure short-term they lose a minor amount, but they will buy up small and mid-size businesses, family farms, homes, stocks, etc. The rich will get richer, the rest of us poorer.

Europe--stop talking, start taking serious action, i.e. no fly zones, boots on ground, give Ukraine the tools to win, clear statement to Putin that he must exit Ukraine now or face a united European response. The longer you wait, the stronger he becomes, and obviously under Trump the U.S. is out.

Given the failure of dem leadership writ large, for years, perhaps it is time for a new party, one that would be needed for either GOP or Dems to win, thus having to negotiate and avoid the ultra right and ultra left extremes. Personally would love a moderate approach financially and socially.

Stop billionaires/big business buying our politicians--limit contributions, eliminate PACs, and while we're at it, term limits for politicians and judges at all levels. Career politicians, with rare exceptions, work to keep their positions, not serve us.

President Biden, AG Garland, Director Wray--what are you doing to protect fed employees from Musk posting their information everywhere? They are clearly being endangered. SCOTUS has sadly given a license to act with immunity, take advantage of it in your last 2 months. Time is running out!
