Btw, blanket statement for future stories — “sHe sHouLd hAvE eXpeCteD tHiS” is not a legitimate reason to dismiss someone’s experience with the consequences of an abortion ban.

I was really struggling with my second round of gestational diabetes last summer when I discovered there was a support community for it on Reddit. It was so, so incredibly helpful to me to have that group and give support back to others. I will always be grateful for that.

BTW: if you're wondering why you haven't heard much about this, it's partly because there aren't many religion reporters.

But @rns.org — a small, independent, nonprofit newsroom — covers stories like these across the country.

Imagine if health care was just something everyone had, and not a zero sum competition between "good" people and "bad" people

Mike Johnson: "If you're a young, pregnant American citizen women who shows up in an ER and you get treated and they pay the hospital less for treating you than some illegal rabble rouser who came in from some South American country to do us harm, that is wrong."

This picture is from 1992 in LA and using it in this post and story shows terrible news judgment.

For all the ink spilled about Taylor this week/month/year, the media largely has missed how K-Pop Demon Hunters has taken over our kids’ attention. I’ve seen a few pieces that gave it good one-off treatment but not a breadth of coverage that recognized a real phenomenon happening here in the States.

I feel like this photo of masked, armed men pepper spraying a pastor protecting his community is going to be a defining picture of this moment in America for a long, long time.

Trying to imagine shooting this guy with pepper balls just for laughs
Pastor Black, the subject in an article in the quoted text who was shot with pepper balls by ICE after inviting them to pray with him, is a gregarious looking white man with dreamy wavy hair and he's pictured kneeling next to a cute white husky dog named Bella.

Oregon National Guard Adjutant General, General Gronewold says if they are federalized, that he will advise the Title 10 commander to utilize National Guard Troops to PROTECT protesters at ICE facilities. This is the right answer.
