Dane happily retired in the UK, keen hiker, covered large parts of South East England on foot, now a Thames Path Twicer having done the walk twice, planning for 2026, worked in automation, now plays with Python/MySQL coding
Had a much needed 9 mile walk on Friday passing NT Standen on the way, trying to flush the Xmas indulgence out of the system 😂 walking is a healer as is well known, at least by me.

Waiting for a few people around here to ignore that and put their bins out regardless 😆

Wonderful reminder of walks on the Northdowns, bit of a job to get there, but worth it, used it for fitness training before going to venture along the West Highland Way some years ago, loved it

Next you are going to walk all 245 miles to Isle of Grain (again)😂

Not so brilliant Denmark, they threw it away playing a messy campaign, anyway it's play offs now

Walked past it when doing the Ridgeway in 2019 as my wife was waiting in nearby car park, did not want to miss my lift home 😔

Andrew, John's promised me it won't be the Thames, honestly 😂

Not for me, I've kept an older version (April 2025) of PyCharm and switched off AI plus enabled power saver mode as my 2 year old PC was struggling to handle the cr#p "overload", I like to write my own code, otherwise I would never learn or understand a thing. Saving money too not renewing PyCharm.

Which is on my planning chart 📈 too

Wonderful, would like to be there, maybe another day 😁, certainly inspired me for 2026, posted by a Thames Twicer 🤪

I did Andrew, dropped in @ the Sir John Franklin in Greenhithe for a soft drink with lots of ice, beer coming later 😁

Just wondering, can't even remember what it is in Danish😕
September 5, 2025 at 5:39 PM
Is that with 2 d's?
September 5, 2025 at 5:36 PM
Thanks John, I wonder what 6 times gives you in terms of titles? 😁

Andrew, I'm now officially a twicer as you put it 😊 should be in the next update of the Oxford Dictionary, going to lie low for a few months and contemplate what's next for the seasoned hiker, it won't be the Thames 👎 which has won my affection but, twice is enough 🤠

I'll hopefully be a twicer later today, I'll certainly boast about it 😜
