My own list would have put The Color Purple much higher (being the only good female-led movie he's directed) and put Schindler's List at no. 1. Also, where's Minority Report? I'm no fan of Tom Cruise, but I found that one surprisingly good.

I'm looking forward to the episodes that shine more of a spotlight on the female cadets. My biggest issue with this past ep is how little screen time they got.

I usually don’t bother with shows that don’t have female regulars— I’ve never seen an episode of Supernatural— but I may have to watch this one anyway. I ❤️ Ben Kingsley.

I was afraid of this. MCU seems to be caving to the Anti-Woke Brigade, at least where female characters are concerned.

When I first watched it, I wasn't prepared for the ending. I think I need to watch it again.

"Ooh, I HATE myself! I do!" (Sheriff bashes himself with a hammer) "I do!" (hammer again) "I do!" (again with the hammer).
I love Mel Blanc's voicework in this one. Granted, he's always great, but for some reason I find this one special.

I loved him as Mr. Micawber in David Copperfield (1933). The movie has its flaws -- most involving compressing a huge novel to an under-two-hour feature film -- but his takedown of the cringing villain Uriah Heep (Roland Young) is its best scene, IMO.

Even Bruno Kirby's character in Good Morning, Vietnam was funnier than this dude.

He probably only watched the Ferengi episodes, the ones that made light of misogyny. I can't imagine him being inclined to tolerate Kira Nerys, the most front-and-center female lead Trek had ever had at the time.

Even if we didn’t already know she murdered a dog and laughed about it, being on a first name basis with Discount Goebbels would not speak well for her character.

Let Zootropolis 2 take both those awards, then (although I'm longing to see Little Amelie). But the Lilo & Stitch remake has absolutely no business being nominated for anything. They ignored The Bad Guys 2 in favor of THAT?

I'm sad for Delroy Lindo but happy for Hamnet. Praying it wins Outstanding British Film.

Just please, God, don't let that dreadful Lilo & Stitch remake win in its category. Seriously, were there NO better family films that could have been nominated?

The good of DS9: We finally got complex, important heroines in a Trek series.
The bad: They wimped out on Bashir/Garak.
The ugly: Through the Ferengi, misogyny was played for laughs.

Love these folks, especially Aughra!

E.T. is a lovely film, but I haven’t watched it in over two decades. I watch The Dark Crystal once every couple of years.

I’m a white person in a red state (can’t afford to ditch my good job and move) and he is NOT my president.

He is the president for bigots, and no one else.
