The Sister Switch by Charlotte Butterfield#Bookreview #BookBlogger #ScottishBookReviewer #Bookstagrammer
Book Review: The Sister Switch by Charlotte Butterfield I absolutely loved The Sister Switch! Charlotte Butterfield delivers such a funny, heart-warming story that had me grinning one minute and getting a little misty-eyed the next. Alice and Edie are brilliant characters—flawed, relatable, and full of personality. The “life swap” premise is executed perfectly, with so many laugh-out-loud moments as each sister stumbles through the other’s daily chaos.

Lock Every Door by Riley Sager #Bookreview #BookBlogger #ScottishBookReviewer #Bookstagrammer
Book Review: Lock Every Door by Riley SagerI’ve been meaning to read Lock Every Door for ages, and it did not disappoint! Riley Sager takes the classic “locked-room mystery” and gives it a deliciously sinister twist. From the moment Jules steps into the Bartholomew, I could feel the unease creeping in. The building almost becomes a character in its own right—beautiful, luxurious, but with a pulse of menace running through it.

The Sublet by Greer Hendricks #Bookreview #BookBlogger #ScottishBookReviewer #Bookstagrammer
Book Review: The Sublet by Greer Hendricks I was really intrigued by the premise of The Sublet. As someone who enjoys character-driven thrillers, the idea of a struggling ghostwriter being drawn into the world of an enigmatic self-help guru sounded right up my street. The first half hooked me — Greer Hendricks paints Anne’s chaotic life with sharp detail, and the creeping sense of unease builds nicely.
