It was really good. Just like old times. He has been gone 7 months. I've seen him twice in that time. Planning to go visit him next year. Either end of January or June.

Your and my planning are very different this year. I like your preparation better. I have made the first lot of Christmas presents, yes all handmade, 34(not the cross stitch) of one lot, and I've done 10 out of 17 for the rest. (As below)
