I love African history. From Great Zimbabwe to ancient Kemet, and from Aksum to Dhar Tichitt, I'm here for it.
I woke up feeling great this morning.

"Counting or not counting gang violence" were his final words.
This man was about to go on an anti-Black rant so excuse me if I don't rip my shirt in anguish at him dying like a dog.

This is the same man who watched George Floyd get murdered and called him a "scumbag" before his body was even cold.

Queen Ashayet was Queen Consort and one of the wives of Mentuhotep II, who ruled during the 11th Dynasty. Her tomb (DBXI.17) and small decorated chapel were discovered within Mentuhotep II's temple complex at Deir el-Bahari along with those of her sister wives Henhenet, Kawit, Kemsit, and Sadeh.

This scene depicts men patiently waiting for their turn to have their hair cut by a barber. The original artwork dates back to around 1427-1400 BCE, capturing a glimpse of everyday life in Ancient Kemet (Egypt). The depiction emphasises how certain aspects of life (e.g. grooming) don't change.
