Greetings from East Yorkshire...the best Yorkshire!
I'm detecting in East Yorkshire so didn't really expect to find a Scottish Turner from the 1600s...over the moon with this, even if it isn't in the best condition. You can just about make out the thistle design.

Something sensible finally happening at Wizards Of The Coast? Booting Chris Perkins & Jeremy Crawford is way overdue. The Avernus book was one massive ego trip, then they fell asleep at the wheel & have been sleepwalking ever since, seemingly oblivious to the huge dip in quality (Witchlight aside).

I have only been metal detecting since last October and was incredibly lucky to find one heraldic horse pendant...so to find another must mean I'm blessed!

Amazing heraldic horse pendant found whilst metal detecting yesterday. Some kind of animal and a little bit of the colourful enamel can be seen. Not going to clean it.

Managed to get out metal detecting this afternoon...and discover this 1700 year old handsome chap. Not much left of him, sadly.

First George IV coin I've ever dug...very happy with this Farthing. Every time something new while metal detecting.

Even if you've only got a couple of hours spare, like I did this afternoon, it is always worth going metal detecting.

In before the storm...not much from the metal detecting today, but I do like a good bit of horse decor...

Not sure whether the illusion has been broken for the poor little kids at this "Breakfast with Father Christmas" event...

I find bigger minis more difficult to paint but am pretty pleased with how this D&D frost giant turned out.

Harassing your D&D group with a Bulette is always entertaining. Fun to paint as well.
