Aaron Boone pinch hit one of the few players actually providing offense in an elimination game instead of pinch-hitting someone who has 16 K’s in 7 Postseason games. These last 3 outs have to be the last 3 outs of Boone’s job, right? The decisions he’s made in his 8 seasons as manager are baffling.

Facing Skubal again is not ideal, but except for the two Polanco home runs, we didn’t exactly destroy him in game 2, and he still had 9 K’s, so maybe that was his good start against us and we’ll tag him for 4 or 5 on Friday? 🤷🏻‍♂️ I’m trying to be optimistic here 🫣

The bullpen blow up was less than ideal today, but the concern for game 5 because of it is odd. This bullpen has been nails and the two guys that got shelled today have been incredible this year. Even a solid bullpen is gonna have a bad day. I doubt they’ll have another blow up on Friday.
