Tonight's post holiday brain dump.

Happy Thanksgiving for those that observe the holiday. For me, today was a reminder that no matter how fucked things may seem, spending time with loved ones, family or friends, can heal the heart and calm the mind. If only for a day.

At 38 years old, I've lived through too much strife and chaos. My ability to care has disappeared. The only thing I care about is my wife's well being and health and making sure my 3 year old son has a fighting chance.

I don't want to leave the US, but at what point do I have to make that choice...
