I see they are paying attention to Canada. Their Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID) system is pushed on disabled people for reasons like not being able get a ramp installed due to illegal delays, or being unable to get medical care for a diagnosed condition.

Correction. RFK is an active addict. Addiction isn't about magic substances it is the result of unresolved trauma. Anything that distracts from the pain can be an addiction : exercise, porn, shopping, social media, gambling, stranger sex, religion... and that dude is addicted to attention

You have to go back at least as far as The Business Plot to overthrow the government in 1933 and put in a fasciest dictator to even look for an answer. You's need to focus on the Kotch family and the Bush family too. Without the Kotch family paying the bills the John Birch Society would have died.

Humans have a brain reward from learning. Tiny kids take joy in it. Somehow the US educational system kills that brain reward using operant conditioning so that people automatically avoid learning. That sort of training causes rapid irrational PTSD reactions. We educate people into trauma avoidance

He was preaching to the choir and those easily swayed. Fasciests don't aim their demogaugery at well informed rational people. And since he was aiming at converts and those easily deceived, he only had to say the words once. Backing away later would tend to be viewed as caving to the deep state.

yes ignore the tiny # of scientists who were there and did this. Only 424 astronomers out of about 10,000 participated in the 2006 vote; less than 5%. Alan Stern (leading scientist on the New Horizons mission to Pluto) said it was a farce & that the astronomy community was expected to overturn it.

They are changing words without figuring out that they LOST from ideology & candidates. Center right, pro surveillance state, pro militarized cops, pro parasitic eternal warfare, pro Wall Street, pro authoritarianism, propaganda embracing, oligarchy orbiting, neoliberalism without real primaries.

I grew up in a far-right church and one of the things I noticed is that everything was done on the cheap no matter how risky it was. Most things were done by unqualified volunteers. Kids cared for by parishioners without police checks. Church had no fire exit. The camps were often physically unsafe.

The problem here is that Trump is a classical narcissist & he was publicly humiliated. Classical narcissists have bad self images & try to cover that with bluster. Public humiliation won't be blown off easily. He is probably going to go after the families of the soldiers. That's his style.

and it was immediately taken away again until the 1970s due to the black codes that turned random people into slaves over false charges. After that it was taken away AGAIN using the War on Drugs and private prisons.
