Christmas / New Year meant that both mine and my missus’s batteries completely died. My old, huge, heavy yellow monster was totally useless, never able to start my car. With this, I can start a 3.2L even without using the boost button. A lifesaver 😻

Actually, this is a stopgap until I reinstate the Kyocera Ceramic Daikon Grater I dropped and smashed to pieces 😭
The only major supermarket that sells daikon (or “mooli” for my Indian friends) in the UK is Ocado. It’s imported from Italy.

Love that Tom Grennan is rocking a retro Adidas top with “Miyazaki” on it. I’ve heard it’s a fab place, and I really must visit - if only for their revered mangoes 🥭

This is basically Bechamel on Toast, but with beer instead of milk? What a hardcore! 🏴
(Alas, I only had London Pride 🏴 and Gouda 🇳🇱, so this is not Welsh at all 😭)

Roland Tricapture, which I’ve used for 10 years+, has decided it’s had enough. I went for this German–Chinese as my new audio interface. I love the olde-skool CB radio look. And it runs at 192 kHz - double the Roland (and double the file size 😆)

Only existed between 1889 - 1943 (Tokyo is “Tokyo Metropolis”, not a “city” ever since) and therefore this is one for a pedant like me to pick up. This chap from a corner shop didn’t even know it’s Japanese but happy to know it’s “cool” (by me that is)
