That doesn’t sound like much fun! Interestingly I also had a job doing this as a teen - lopping the tops of thistles on the hills for days on end, to improve the grass for the cows. I didn’t mind as I got the quad bike, but also not great pay!

Early morning atmosphere in Scotland’s Caledonian forest. Missing is the sound of the flowing river and birdsong, along with the earthy woodland smell.

One of my favourite photos from my recent book Fleeting Reflections II

The photo is a reflection of a building in water. All done in camera using multiple exposures - no Photoshop or AI
