If you have an object and you clean and take care of it it will imbue itself with utility upon you. If you curate the things you surround yourself by you are curating what your mind tends towards and thus who you are.

An often unmentioned benefit of writing and posting: it serves as a forcing function to limit your attention a quality ever more valuable as attention demands increase.

I can have only one thought at a time. But like an epiphany or an intuition it comes at once and compressed. The labor and tedium come from parsing it and articulating it into words.

Any foreign topic you encounter that seems inscrutable you can reform as language. You are fluent in a language you are already capable of one inscrutable topic to others so why not this other thing?

The capacity for LEV and to live 100+ years demands amnesia or an inhuman capacity for forgiveness. Why would you opt to live that long and suffer continuously?

It's more likely than not that China invades Taiwan (out of desperation). It's also more likely than not that China converts to a non-autocratic state. The future is long.

If character is destiny it stands to reason that I should be able to prevent the major traumas in my life with routine and regular management.

How much of human enterprise can be likened to gardening. Everything you care about should be managed ever so throughout the day or the week. Otherwise you can't claim ownership.

On the day you die if anyone remembers you at all they will as quickly return to their living responsibilities as tend to your post living ones.
