Saw a YouTube video about this this morning. “Tom Hennessy” created this GiveSendGo donation site for her. That name is an alias used to create similar donations for racist assholes. The whole thing might be a scam and she won’t get anything. A racist scammer will. See tizzyent on YT

Just listened to the episode, then forwarded to my daughter, a Fire Control Officer on a US Navy DDG. She’s been angry and upset since the first news about the Venezuelan strikes came out, which she called clearly criminal. Also worried if she ends up in such a situation

Why? Maybe the cell engineering is interesting but this is not a viable alternative to HMD. HMD snd CPL are within 2x of each other cost-wise - CPL is not, as stated, cheap and HMD high value. Max titer is less than 2.6 g/L and HMD is water-miscible. Separation/purification not mentioned.
