I'm ready to stop hearing about it constantly. Either it'll be ubiquitous and not worth discussing or it'll be dead and not worth discussing.

But I'm somewhere in the middle. It can be a useful tool but I've not seen good enough results to rely on it completely. Agentic dev isn't for me (yet?)

Saw this as a take awhile back. Whether or true or not I thought it was interesting.

@mikebroberts.com thinking about it a bit more I could see where it'd be a bit misleading in an app. Already the "magic" of CDK hiding some underlying CFN stuff for folks plus more abstracted patterns. I don't think you'd ever really want to use this for things like `versioned: true` props.

I implemented it for S3 buckets primarily. We use `blockPublicAccess: BlockPublicAccess.BLOCK_ALL` (I believe this is the CFN default anyway) and `enforceSSL: true` everywhere. We have Security Hub alerts for these so seemed a nicety.

But yeah, it could cause some issues in some apps/teams.
