The FAA has issued a launch license to Blue Origin for the inaugural New Glenn flight, expected no earlier than early January (pending the outcome of a static-fire test as soon as later this afternoon.)

1st light on the Witch Head Nebula, just southeast of Orion near Rigel. 🔭🧪

This combines 4 hours of 3 min exposures at a wide angle from my Indiana backyard. No filter.

Conditions weren't ideal: some intermittent high-alt clouds, and a popular orbit for satellite constellations (look low).
