Raedability is a great argument! I see pivot_table as a shortcut, but it's valuable to learn groupby/agg just for those cases that puvot_table doesn't cover or make it very cumbersome (multiple agg fields with different functions each)

Inside a function I get the same result. What would be an example where it doesn't work like that?
