I'm hoping word of mouth works in their favour for this one and folks make the trip the next couple weeks, but no doubt this movie will do great at home through rentals and streaming [though of course a bummer some may miss this cinematic epic in theatres].

Pretty sure this has way more to do with Disney than Kathleen specifically.

DaCosta knocked this out of the park. This is what I want from the genre, especially the on-going tentpole franchises. Something bold that carries purpose while having finesse and excellent craft. And thematically, this film was sorely needed. I hope many watch and pay close attention to its heart.

The internet is a strong driving force behind bad faith discourse that’s just simply not conducive to art. This is especially true within entertainment fandoms. So, I loved his SW film, but I’m glad he’s moved on.

And I understand they’re controversial and uneven at times but I enjoy the sequels 🤷‍♂️
