If they are taking out trips that sit in the sidings in London interpeak then it should easily save one driver and guard, maybe 2 if they are lucky (though that might be lost again at the roster stage). It also saves on maintenance costs as trains are maintained on a mileage basis. Agree re FR tho!

It is a great show. I like the ones where they have Victoria Coren Mitchell on, as her stories generally involve David, the team captain/her husband.

Our local paper where we used to live delighted in reporting on zero rated restaurants. They tended to close very quickly, then reopen under a new name and/or move to a different location.

Korean game show. Each day (for them) they have two strategy games to play. In the first, they are playing for themselves, with the bottom two going to "prison" for the night afterwards. In the second they are playing collectively to put money in the prize pot.

I feel they've limited themselves starting with only a two word party name. The PFJ/JPF had more options when splitting 😉

I've just presumed that the gate agents get a bonus for prompt processing of passengers, which is obviously measured by the computer at the gate, with no correlation as to whether a plane is there or not. Stood on the tarmac on foot at Stansted for 30 mins once as no pilot. Feels like a prerequisite
