We could occupy DC. Not sure that would actually result in meaningful change unless we decided to go all winter palace

Stephen Miller said the quiet part out loud. Trump has “plenary authority,” then suddenly went silent. Their plan wasn’t to be public yet. Clearly, someone hit the panic button in his earpiece.

It gets weirder: CNN uploaded the interview with the “plenary authority” comment edited out.

Check the timestamps. On CNN’s website, the uploaded interview starts at 2:52. On their YouTube page, the upload starts at 2:47. The “plenary authority” comment by Miller was at 2:41, as shown in my side-by-side video post. CNN should be reporting on what Miller said. It’s news!

amazing, that other lady just blocked me. I'll never understand people who block someone who has a different world view. I get blocking people who are abusive etc. 🤷

lmao the other lady blocked me but I just wrote up this very nice response to her assertion that I'm not Jewish. I'll share here since I took a moment to write it and it feels silly to now have it orphaned under a blocked post bsky.app/profile/kern...

Did you ever do birthright? I went in 2013, it was really interesting but there were things I was surprised by that others in my group seemed not to notice. For example the way our bus cut through the West Bank on our way back from Tzfat surprised me and I was even more surprised when we stopped

at a settlement for dinner (more chicken schnitzel which seemed to be part of the default menu for Americans who were part of a tour). I hadn't realized how much the Israelis take as a given that the West Bank is already their territory. It was definitely eye opening.

Well I haven't been to temple in over a decade so by your definition I may no longer be one. I figure being born to Jewish parents, years of Saturday school and having a Bar Mitzvah then dayenu but hey I don't make the rules

I'll make sure to return all the birthday gifts in increments of 18 that I've received over the years and try and track down my foreskin. Clearly I've been lied to!

any kind of investigation or analysis on how the IDF failed so miserably on October 7th? From the reporting at the time it seemed like there were virtually no IDF soldiers physically present at the border between Gaza and Israel and the air power intended to provide support to that area was up north
kernelkorn420.bsky.social
I never said Hamas is blameless and I agree there is no 'good' side here at this point. Even if you completely ignore what is happening in Gaza you still have the IDF providing support for settlers who are murdering people and stealing their property in the West Bank.

By the way have you seen

I would think Hamas is shooting at IDF soldiers. I didn't approve of my military leveling entire neighborhoods in Iraq to take out targets who were amongst a civilian population and I don't approve of Israel doing it in Gaza
kernelkorn420.bsky.social
sure and because Hamas are monsters that means Israel is totally allowed to starve 2 million people into a choice of leaving their homeland or dying...

also, as a jew who doesn't live in Israel I tend pay attention to events and I'm still wondering how Israeli security failed so badly
